No equivalence: Diltiazem, a calcium channel blocker, cannot be substituted for losartan, and angiotensin receptor blocker.

Both may be used to lower bp, but there is no simple way to figure if the patient is a good candidate for a switch or what kind of dose should be used. Depends on too many variables.

Yes: Taking a low or half dose of 2 medicines can be a good way to reduce the side effects.  Check with your doctor before making the change.  Monitor your BP if change is made.

Multiple: There are literally dozens of blood pressure meds available.  If you don't like the effects of the two you're on, talk with your doctor.  My guess would be it's the diltiazem.  You could try something like lisinopril, an ace inhibitor.  I would avoid beta-blockers, as they are also known to cause problems with erectile dysfunction.

Yes is safe: It's an effect of the calcium channel blocker diltiazem. If asymptomatic it's no problem.

Probably good: Presumably, your doctor has evidence you have an arrhythmia (irregular heart rhythm).  The Diltiazem has antiarrhythmic properties which the losartan lacks.

: This can be a typical finding in chest X-ray of a person with subclinical congestive heart failure. Diltiazem has negative inotropic effect (weakening the heart pump) can be the culprit. Bisoprolol does not have this negative inotropic effect.

ED and BP MEDS: ED issues can be related to almost all BP meds and or high blood pressure itself. Discuss with your team.  Some are more of a problem than others and it is an individual response so you and your team need to give them all a try till you find one (or more) that don’t give you the problem.  As salt plays a key role in many with high blood pressure consider moving to the DASH eating plan.

Yes, however....: This combination of medicines both affect heart rate as they both target the av node.  Many times serial ekgs will be used to make sure you are tolerating this combination.   I will say that this combination (especially immediate release diltiazem) is unusual.
