Don't Assume : Could be one of many things.  Most likely it is what is called myofascial/musculoskeletal which should be reassuring.  The fact that it hurts with sitting only is reassuring that more sinister issues not likely.  However, the abbominal pain is a bit concerning with the back pain.  Female issues, bowel issues and renal issues need to be ruled out.  Your primary physician would be a good start.

Common: Ovarian cysts are pretty common. "Simple" cysts are fluid-filled sacs with no walled-off areas inside of it. They don't need any treatment unless it becomes too large or causing pain. "Complex" cysts have many compartments inside of it and only sometimes they need to be removed. The doctor who ordered the CT scan can tell you if it is a simple or complex cyst and what size it is.

Hard to say: There are quite a few causes of low back, hip and rib pain - from degenerative disk disease to bone conditions, to arthritis, to trauma/injury, to pain coming from the uterus or ovaries, or shingles. If the pain is significant or ongoing, you see your doctor for an evaluation.

Several: Avoiding direct pressure on the coccyx.  Use a pillow with a cut out.  Anti-inflammatories.  Decreasing/avoid exercise.  If pain doesn't improve, see your physician.

Coccydynia: Coccydynia literally means pain coming from the tailbone and its cause is not known.  Because the condition responds exceptionally well to an injection of cortisone directly into the coccyx and because cortisone is a powerful anti-inflammatory, it is felt the condition may be from an inflammation of the coccyx. Depends: Sacro-iliac injections would only be expected to cure symptoms coming from that specific joint.  It would be fairly uncommon for sacro-iliac problems to cause pain in the tailbone (coccyx).  There is a condition known as Coccydynia.  In that case the coccyx is tender and patients have pain sitting down. A steroid injection in the coccyx is the main injection we try for that.

Conservative/aggress: First, you need a diagnosis: what's causing the pain? Treatment depends on cause as well as other factors. Commonly, it's due to injury. If it's fractured, surgery is an option, though osteopathic docs use more conservative manipulation techniques to re-position the coccyx. Sometimes there is no visible cause for pain. A good osteopathic exam and manual treatment might prove helpful in such a case.
