Some do not me: If cn early i only reduced the syndesmosis & transfixed with a screw, post op boot, no wt bearing 6-8 weeks. Then screw removal and rehab. I would always fix in some plantar flexion which gives a tight fit, but dorsiflexion is regained thu rehab. Some longer than others.  Others will open & sort of repaire the shreded ligament but i never did. B sure screw is a lag & sticks out the tibial side.

Depends: Since your injury is 4 months old the need for surgery depends on how much your wrist bothers you.  If your pain is infrequent, you may want to wait, but if you have pain every day, it is probably not going to get better without surgery. Surgery can be very helpful, but it often takes 3-4 months to fully recover.

That depends: These are not risk factors for contracting the virus. However, if you just had open heart surgery - that could be a risk factor for more severe disease.  But it you just had a minor ankle sprain, that would not increase risk for more severe illness.

Injuries to the Head: Chest, heart, abdomen, pelvis, spine, which are life threatening injuries, require immediate surgery, mainly to control bleeding, repair of heart/major vessels, lung/windpipe or liver/spleen/kidney lacerations, pelvic or long bones complicated fractures, including open ones. Removing blood from within the skull, chest, abdomen/pelvic cavities.

Major surgery: It will be a few weeks before you are back in the game.  You had a significant injury with major surgery this will take a few weeks to get better. Exact times are hard to say because we do not know the other circumstances around your event, ask your surgeon.

Decompression: Sometimes decompression and  neurolysis are the treatments for the Long Thoracic Nerve Injury. You should contact the specialist.

Are you sure?: First, and probably most importantly, the vast majority of ITB injuries do well with nonoperative care.  In the very small percent that have surgery, the technique used and therefore the recovery involved are based on the pathology.  In some cases a torn tendon is repaired, in others a tight tendon is released or a spur removed arthroscopically. I would certainly discuss directly with your surgeon
