See your Dr.: Unlikely that teething would cause a fever that high.  Would follow up with your doctor at that young of an age.

Possible yeast: Sounds like your youngster might have  a yeast infection sometimes caused thrush or candidiasis. Typically causes white cottage cheesy looking spots on the inner cheeks or tongue. The corners of the mouth is a common area  for it to occur while teething as it is always wet from extra drooling and yeast loves warm, moist spots and so is chief culprit in diaper rash as well. No: Haven't seen anything good come from babies and teething biscuits. Babies are likely to bite off more than they can handle, and then choke. If parents decide to take a chance with teething biscuits, they should be sure to plan ahead (as in knowing what to do with a choking baby).

Yes: Try using clove oil rub on the effected areas should be very helpful. You can also get liquid traumeel from a health food store and give your child 4-6 drops every few hours for two or three days.

See a Dr if: the fever lasts 3 days or more, if your child is lethargic, not eating/drinking, vomiting, or has diarrhea with blood. A pediatrician can examine your child and determine if they are dehydrated, if the infection needs treatment (UTI, meningitis, bacterial GI infection), or if other tests are neede

Yes: but only a few amount  couple of drops each  time and  no more frequent than 6-8 hr intervals.

About 2 years: Most babies get their first  teeth at around 6 months old and finish getting their second baby molars about 2 1/2 years old.  Babies do not teeth continuously  during this time but on and off. The refrigerated ring works great. A damp washcloth frozen in the freezer works good as well. Try to avoid using medication accept as a last resort.

Feeding problem: an empty stomach is one of the common caused of a healthy baby waking up make sure the baby has a good solid food like rice cereal a couple of hrs before bed time.allows to not wake up with hunger.
make sure baby is not congested at night not hot and not cold
make sure baby is sleeping in a crib of his own so movments of the bed does not wake him  up

If you wish: I'm not convinced that it does anything for babies but it does give moms something to do, and some swear by them. The contents of gripe water are not harmful.
