Intensity/duration: Broken bone often but not always associated with more intense pain intially.  Broken bone will aften preclude ability to weight bear through affected body part.  Displaced fractures (breaks) will make affected body part appear deformed (shortened, rotated or angulated finger for example).  Pain from broken bone may persist longer than sprain.

No: Although parkinson's can be associated with repetitive head trauma, there is no relationship with a sprain or fracture.  Other causes include manganese, carbon monoxide, certain focal strokes, and genetic susceptibilities to idiopathic parkinson's.

Possible: But with no X-RAY changes unlikely.Delayed changes can occur but seems unlikely also.

Depends!: Rarely, depends on type of trauma! Simple linear fracture as opposed to a complicated displaced fracture? Did u require surgery? Other factors play a role! Obesity, smoking, blood clotting deficiencies, previous history of clots? Ligament,tendon sprains are usually not associated with blood clots, good luck

can i still work out while wearing a walking boot? #nqlu i have a fractured bone in my foot due to an ankle sprain and must wear a walking boot for 6 weeks for the bone to heal. what type of exercises can i still engage in?

You : You can engage in any upper body activity you like, and can also swim.  I would not engage in any activity that involves you standing or putting any pressure on your foot / ankle or leg.  That would include cycling.

No, but. . .: The real problem is how badly if at all, the growth plate has been injured.  This could change the rate of growth.  At 16 you may not have too much growth left in the distal tibial.  All you can do is watch at this point.  I GUESS that you'll be OK.

Inflammation.: The bone can be inflammed and may be on the brink of fracturing. You should be  seeing an orthopedic foot/ankle specialist.
