Seek Gynecology advi: Cysts of more than 2 inch in size are at risk for becoming cancerous. So I would advise you to get an ultrasound done and consider  that it be removed especially if the Ultrasound shows any solid structure(besides fluid) contained inside the cyst.

Common finding: Many young women have ovarian cysts and many will experience a spontaneous rupture. The cyst ruptures not the ovary, and may release a small amount of blood into the abdomen triggering some discomfort. Natural ovulation is just the release of an egg through much the same process, the cyst doesn't release an egg.

Yes, go to ER!: I'm so sorry you're going through this.  Definitely it could still be there, or it could have ruptured, either is possible.  Pain and vomiting can also be a sign of ovarian torsion.... Which is something that needs immediate surgical attention. I recommend that you go to the er for evaluation now... 6-8 weeks: Normally, a ruptured cyst resolves in 6-8 wks. It depends on the size of the cyst and how much fluid spilled. Your body has to reabsorb the fluid. Sometimes, scar tissues forms as a result and causes chronic pain. Wait 2 more weeks, if not better, go see your gynecologist. You probably need a repeat ultrasound to be sure it's gone. If the pain is severe, go now.

Ovarian cysts: In normally cycling women (age 12->50 ish), cysts come and go each cycle and are ususally not symptomatic. This is all part of making a monthly egg. The fluid in the ovary is a functional cyst.

could morcellation cause cyst to grow?

No: Morcellator is a process where large specimen turn to a mushy smaller pieces in order to safely be removed from the abdominal cavity during laproscopic surgery.it does not interfere in any of the organ . Ovarian cyst is a physiological process nobody can control.
