Urine test: will need to check urine for sugar and infection.  Will also need blood work for sugar .  But this could related to you medical condition and may be your medication

Yes: Please contact your doctor for good blood sugar control and long term sugar level test (hba1c).  It's very important to have very good control of diabetes.  Uncontrolled diabetic will lead to many medical issues(eye, heart, kidney, leg circulation etc).  Please make sure to have yearly eye exam and close follow up with your docs.  Exercises and diet helps with better control of diabetes.

Have your knee evaluated by orthopedic surgeon, who might also assess  possible fibromyalgia, or poly myalgia rheumatica.  Do get screened for possible pre-diabetes. The doctor will want to know what the heart rate was prior to the current symptoms, and what it is now (write down heart rates for the doctor). Also, one should let the doctor know what is meant by frequent urination (how many times an hour in the daytime, and how many during sleep time). Any current medications should be discussed.
