Nerve symptom: This sensation could be due to irritability or mild inflammation of superficial nerve endings in that region. Apparently there is no pain, tingling or pins and needles sensations which are also seen with nerve ending irritability or neuropathy. If symptoms persist consult a neurologist who may also check for deficiencies of vitamin b12, calcium, magnesium, potassium or for diabetes.

It could be: This  could be  allergic  or viral but also could be  non-allergic rhinitis.Would treat  with antihistamine or  decongestant and if no response discuss with your physician.

Tell your surgeon : Hi there Ralph  I am presuming you are having cataract surgery. In that case, it is prudent you let your surgeon no as they may think it is best until you get better from your cold. Probably: This maybe due to positional obstruction of one of the vessels either deep or superficial. Some times tension of trapezius muscle can obstruct flow in occipital vein and change in position leads to a running water sensation.

Cold? Allergy?: Sounds like a typical cold, or maybe allergy. Over the counter treatments might help. Or just sit tight and wait for your symptoms to clear up. This doesn't sound serious at all.

That is possible: Some people are asymptomatic. Other possible symtpoms include:  fever, cough, feeling tired, shortness of breath, muscle aches, headache, chills, chest pain, nasal congestion, loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Get urgent care for difficulty breathing, blue lips, persistent chest pain/ pressure or new onset confusion.

Possible infection: With high pulse and  and discharge could be a throat infection  any fever ? Watery eyes may be allergy would push fluids , Benadryl (diphenhydramine)  and if any elevated temperature get checkefd.

Possible, but: The tests indicate no physical basis. Stress is a great mimic. I would see a Rheumatologist, to make sure your Ratnaud's is not serious. Nail fold capilaroscopy is a must!
