Nerve symptom: This sensation could be due to irritability or mild inflammation of superficial nerve endings in that region. Apparently there is no pain, tingling or pins and needles sensations which are also seen with nerve ending irritability or neuropathy. If symptoms persist consult a neurologist who may also check for deficiencies of vitamin b12, calcium, magnesium, potassium or for diabetes.
