Doctor can check: In that area are the liver, gallbladder, part of the intestine, and of course some muscle and ribs. The right kidney is deeper inside, near there. One's primary care doctor can examine to see if there is any reason to worry. A patient can write down details such as when the pain started, was it sudden or gradual, was there any trauma (such as in sports), etc., and show the details to the doctor.

Back and tummy pain: Which side of back and tummy? Are you having any other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, fever, changes in stools?

As for the orange stuff coming out of cuticles, I do not know what this could be. I have not heard of this symptom before.

These  may not  be: These may not be related. You need to see your physician and not go to the hospital. It will save  a lot of money staying out of the ER. Your evaluation will be to see if the two are related, may incude imaging including a chest  film and possibly a CT or  MRI

Get checked out: Right side of your abdomen under rib cage is where your liver and gall bladder live. A good doc can examine your liver to see if it's tender.  A blood test can reveal irritation to the liver cells or gall bladder.
If organs are ok, Structurally, there can be dysfunction of the tissue/nerve/bone system in that area--an osteopath or PT or good yoga session might help.

Unclear: It's unclear to me what could still be causing you this churning feeling.  If you had a cesarean, it could be scar tissue that's causing this feeling.  Abdominal cramping could possibly be due to endometriosis or inflammation in the pelvis.  Consider seeing a gynecologist and having a pelvic exam so as to try to ascertain the origin of this pain.
