Neuropathy may affect your digestive system, urinary tract, blood vessels and the heart. For some people, the symptoms are mild; for others, it can be painful and disabling.

Edema: Sounds like you have some type of edema. Fluid retention can be for multiple reasons. Excess salt intake, thyroid problem or a kidney problem. This sounds like an issue you should address with a provider.

Possibly: If there is family history of parkinson's disease i would say yes. Otherwise, i would consider multiple sclerosis. Do you have muscle weakness that is getting worst?

Unilateral swelling : The symptoms reported are vague and a doctors visit is recommended to help sort this out. Swelling to a doctor could mean swelling, edema, synovitis, lymphadenopathy, etc. The fact that its unilateral is interesting. With history of cat allergy as listed in your profile, angioedema comes to mind, which can cause swelling attacks and not always symmetric. Good luck.

Check the neck: Your discription is vague...Do your sx's affect your head, scalp or face?..If not i would assess the cervical spine with neuro-imaging such as MRI as well as flexion/extension views of the cervical spine to assess for instability or advanced djd.

Let me explain: There two possible  ways to get numbness in both l hand and foot in the same time.
1-you some problem partially compressing your spinal cord in the neck area more on the left side.
2_possible two problems in the same time one effecting the arm and other effecting the foot(nerve problems) which unusual.
