Neuropathy: Depending on the affected nerves, symptoms of neuropathy can range from a numbness and tingling sensation, possibly a burning sensation, to an uncomfortable painful sensation of the extremities. Neuropathy may affect your digestive system, urinary tract, blood vessels and the heart. For some people, the symptoms are mild; for others, it can be painful and disabling.

Alot going on: The swelling in left foot could be frpm poor circulation, poor venous return of blood from lower legs to heart. Was there a recent injury to the left foot/leg? That would probably be the most common cause. Now, the tingling to the left foot ; hand could be neurological in nature. Can also be related to poor/reduction of blood supply to those limbs, hence the tingly numb feeling. Do you smoke?
