: You have a number of diffuse symptoms. Would follow up with an expert in scleroderma i.e. a doctor who is a professor at a medical school. If none in your city find one in the nearest city.

Inflammation: Swollen tongue, hands and feet could be angioedema--all the symptoms you name could come from a food allergy, and that is one thing you would want to rule out before looking for more chronic and insidious diseases, because the treatment is so straightforward--don't eat the food. There are many other possible causes, however. Starting with an allergist would be a logical choice, though.

See a Doctor: These seemingly disconnected symptoms are probably linked to a generalized or systemic illness going on like a kidney  problem or an autoimmune illness like lupus. You need to see a doctor for a complete workup.

Needs evaluation: The onset of these symptoms can have many sources.  These symptoms can be related to connective tissue disorders, viral infections, medication reactions, among others.  Some of these can be serious and should be evaluated.

Acute Rheumatoid: Acute swelling of joints could be a serious problem. You may have an 'auto-immune' disease where you are making antibodies to your own joints (example=rheumatoid arthritis).
Simple blood tests can sort this out. The fastest test is a 'sed. Rate' (&crp) and if elevated highly suggests an auto-immune disease.  I recommend getting to your doctor right away, then you may need a  'rheumatologist'.

Need to be seen: Your symptoms may be related to an infection or possibly an autoimmune process. There are several viral infections that can give you the symptoms you describe and lab work can confirm if this it the case. For the majority the only intervention is time and controlling symptoms such as fever and pain. You want to limit your exposure to others until you are seen by a medical provider.

Inflammation: Sounds like inflammation. Must search for cause. Rule out food sensitivity. About 10 percent of population can be sensitive to nightshades, about 30-40 percent can be sensitive to gluten and casein. i have been having a sharp pain in my second toe on my right foot. it consitant and came on suddenly. when touched or in shoes it hurts more. seems to ach when laying down. looks swollen. pain in tip of toe and joint pain under nail. numb foot?

Toe pain: These are signs of inflammation or injury. If there's no history of trauma or abnormal pressure on the toe from tight footwear, inflammation from gout, other forms of arthritis, ingrown toenail or infection are possibilities. A podiatrist would be best to evaluate,advise and treat you. In the meantime administer warm water soaks until examined.
