Lymphadenopathy: Those are jugulodigastric nodes.  They can be swollen for several reasons including pharyngitis or sinusitis.  Aggressive oral cleaning or scaling can cause this as well.

You may have: a viral infection that may actually be infectious mononucleosis, or bacterial pharyngitis such as strep throat.  Whatever medicines you take for these symptoms may also be responsible for making your brain feel that way. Sometimes it can be Flu, which is more severe.For treatment, take lots of warm liquids(soups, tea, coffee) and take a decongestant medication.
