Go to ER now!: A painful swollen let and foot after surgery can be due to a clot in your leg, or a serious infection.  Please go to an ER now to get seen and treated. cCots in legs can lead to clots in lungs, a very dangerous complication.

Would see MD: Your dad obviously has risk of peripheral vascular disease.  He could have blood clot and if has associated calf pain would seek attention soon.  If his saphenous vein was harvested he could just have increased edema in that leg from less outflow.  I would talk to his surgeon or let family doc know.

If you lost your palpable pulses on your right upper extremity, imaging studies with the appropiate intervention is advised. Go see your cardiologist.
