See eye doctor: Without seeing the rash it would be difficult to diagnose.  Any history of shingles?  In any event, get a good Ophthalmic exam ASAP.

Many answers: Pain and swelling can result from tissue injury.  Inflammation of the interior eye contetnts will cause pain to light exposure .  Pain from a corneal abrasion in obvious.  Sweiiling results from blood vessels becoming "leaky"  allowing healing cells from the blood stream to get to the damaged tissue to promote healing.

Allergy: Could be allergy. Try some over the counter eye allergy eye drops like zaditor (ketotifen).

The eye doctor can see infection, irritation or inflammation, abnormal eyelid position, something stuck in the eye, etc... If a person increasing pain in his eye, the ER can help if no eye doctor is available right away. With bad eye pain, driving can be unsafe.

Stye: If you try some warm compresses and it does not improve then see your eye md. Oh and hold off on wearing eye makeup while it is sore.

Conjunctivitis : May be a cause however there are a number of other inflammatory conditions some can be sight threatening.  Recommend see doctor for examination

Two weeks : Sounds like you have subconjunctival hemorrhage which is due to bleeding trapped between the white or sclera and clear membrane or conjunctiva  of the eye.
