back & stomach pain past kidney issues and just recently went through a incomplete miscarriage and was hemorging  for 15 days. pain in right lower stomach  and by hip pain close to ribs and lower back pain and swelling on right kidney and swelling in legs

It : It sounds like you have a very complicated recent past medical history with the incomplete miscarriage and hemorrhage.  I am sorry that you had to go through that.  With your symptoms in the setting of a recent incomplete miscarriage, your doctor should be aware of the pain and swelling you are having.  It would be reasonable to consult with your physician for an evaluation.  I wish you the best in this difficult situation.

pyelonephritis treated with 4 rounds of ciprofloxacin. 2 weeks later i still have swelling around my kidney (on ultrasound) and mild pain. i have no other symptoms, urine, crp and kidney function are okay. is this normal recovery or is it an abscess?

Sounds OK: If there were an abscess, the ultrasound should have found it. Persistent swelling by ultrasound doesn't sound unusual or worrisome. And it's pretty much impossible to have an abscess with a normal CRP. Discuss with your doctor if you remain concerned.

Kidney function: If a person's kidney is not functioning properly, one of the symptoms that can occur is generalized edema (or swelling) due to improper water balance regulation through a number of different of mechanisms (too complicated to discuss in this forum). I am not sure what you mean by the kidney having a hole (cysts?). There are simple blood tests to determine normal kidney function that can be done.

i am swelling only on my left side. i have swelling all the way up to my thighs. could this be a kidney problem?

Leg Swelling: Possible causes could include a blood clot or lymphedema. I suggest you see your primary care physician as soon as possible to address this problem.

i can feel my right kidney is swelled. it doesn't hurt i can just feel the swelling. no other swelling. what could this be? i'm scared to find out.

Not sure: Hard to tell from your description, but it is unusual to be able to feel your kidney.  This might be a swollen muscle in your back.  Best to get it checked by a doctor to be sure.  Good luck!

if one has kidney problem will the swelling in ankles be there even when laying in bed.also if its kidney will swelling reduce by rest & by elevating.

Not one answer: Swelling or edema can occur in patients at varying degrees of kidney disease- and the  extent is also variable. Typically if you elevate your legs the swelling will go down but it may not always dissipate. Medications such as norvasc (amlodipine) can cause swelling as well as a blood clot, lie ER disease etc.  Make sure you discuss this with your doctor to treat the underlying cause effectively.

recently i started seed cycling for my hormonal imbalance issues. but since then ive noticed swelling in my entire body... and a kind of heaviness in the kidney areas.
can you please suggest me what to do wheather to stop taking seed or not?

Your choice: Seed cycling is a naturopathic plan claimed to balance hormones and boost fertility. It involves eating flax/pumpkin/sesame/sunflower seeds at different times of the month to balance certain hormones. Medical studies have not shown any real effect with Phytoestrogens on human hormones. Increased amounts of seed consumption can cause water retention (because of salt) and constipation.

Need to unblock: Not sure of the question.  A blocked ureter should be unblocked.  Depends on the disease causing the problem.  Can be something outside the ureter-extrinsic like a bowel disease or scarring, or inside the ureter-intrinsic like a stone or blood clot, etc.  Until a definitive treatment is done a tube can be placed in the kidney or the ureter.
