Partial knee replace: Unicompartmental knee replacement performs very well in the vast majority of patients who are appropriate candidates.
The advantages of partial knee replacement over total knee replacement include:
quicker recovery
less pain after surgery
less blood loss
good luck.

Pain: There are several routes you can take on your own.  Call a local hospital and ask for a referral , call the local medical society and see if there is a referral service.  If that fails , call an orthopedist and ask if they do that or can make a referral.

In general, yes: With successful surgery and healing, and you've completed a rehab program, you should be able to return sports without increased risk of re fracture.

How do you feel?: Total white cells fluctuates chaotically, and reference ranges are set so that several percent of healthy folks fall outside. If no abnormal cells are found, the elevation is not striking, and you feel okay, you may simply have you CBC repeated at your next annual exam.

recently broke my femur. had surgery. wondering if when you break a bone, does blood or bone marrow pour into that surrounding area? for example- leg.

Internal bleeding...: can be very significant with a broken bone. This is a primary reason for "reducing" (realigning) and splinting a fracture. Surgery may be needed if the break can't otherwise be stabilized. A broken femur, in particular, can cause massive bleeding into the thigh. Days later the blood may show up as purple, green, or yellow bruises on the skin. Spilled marrow is less of a problem.

Up to a year: After injury or surgery, it can take up to one full year for the body to finish healing and remodeling.

The question: I would ask is why first inquire 12 years later? Once you had the surgery and pain and swelling was a few months old that would of been the appropriate time to get follow up. You need to be evaluated in person by a doctor, with at minimum x-rays to see what was done, how the jet looks now, position of any hardware and what your options are, .
