Absolutely: No question about it, sub-clinical abscess may not have any symptoms. People often believe the need to be in pain to indicate they have a serious medical/dental condition. Periodontal disease may not have any outward symptoms. High blood pressure and diabetes may not have symptoms, bu you can die from either. Many cancers have no symptoms until you have less than a few weeks to live.

Cough: No, levothyroxine is not associated with that.  It is more than likely that you are coughing up a small amount of blood that has a metalic taste from the iron in it.  This may be a concerning symptom.  Please go see a physician for an evaluation.

Not related: Your thyroid issue has very little effect on your teeth. Your teeth breaking down is probably related to age, health of gums, and oral care and diet. Keep seeing your dentist for cleanings and needed care. You can maintain your dentition and oral health. Good luck.

In front of neck: The thyroid gland is in the front of the neck, near the "adam's apple."  however, there are salivary glands and lymph nodes in your upper neck and jaw area.

: No. Teeth nor TMJ affect the thyroid gland. You may have an enlarged lymph gland.

Teeth: can cause local and referred pain but not usually to the shoulder, Gargle and use ibuprofen but go see your dentist
