Asym Hyperhidrosis: Usually represents neurologic disease as opposed to a primary disorder.  Causes include chiari malformation, reflex sympathetic dystrophy (rsd), or harlequin's syndrome.  Additionally, endocrine disorders can cause this problem.  Examples are diabetes and hyperthyroidism. You should meet with your neurologist to discuss further as there is treatment. is it possible to have lymphoma w/ no palpable swollen lymph nodes at all or no fevers or sweats, just discomfort near collarbone & sometimes armpits w/ certain movements? feel fine! could weighted vest cause this? just got one for christmas,worried?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. What you described does not suggest lymphoma. Go to the ER: There could be a reaction to the insect bite. Go to an ER now as your symptoms are concerning for allergic reaction or envenomation. Without the actual animal being seen it is almost impossible to tell what bit you.

The cause of primary hyperhidrosis is unknown, although some physicians claim it is caused by sympathetic over-activity.  Stress has also been a possible cause.  There are medications that can help. Many reasons...: The armpits are a very sensitive area on the body. The skin there is thinner and is rubbed throughout the day with activity.  If you are primarily experiencing pain rather than itch, it is possible you are beginning to develop a skin condition which specifically involves the armpits and/or other folds of the body. It would be best to be evaluated by a physician.

Antiperspirant: Another option would be prescription drysol -- this is very strong and very effective -- talk to your doctor to see if you are a candidate.
