: For constipation take an OTC laxative and a diet with fiber and roughage and some excersize daily. Re your period pl see your doctor for cause

does a high a sugar diet during childhood cause diabetes down the road. i am healthy now, but worried of all the sugar i consumed.

No: Lots of sugar decays teeth and causes obesity and poor nutrition .  Diabetes later in life is more genetic in nature. It is not connected to diet.

best treatment for severe road rash? everything is sticking to the wound when  we try to change bandages.  even with neosporin.  mil says saran wrap?

Tetanus shot: Did you get a tetanus booster dose? If not, please do.
You may soak the bandage in Vaseline before applying to the raw area. If the wound has scabbed over, you may leave is uncovered.

if a person had road accident due to seizure. then after two hours of accident will seizure show in.ct scan or not?

Not: Ct scans show brain structure but do not show brain function.  A seizure is a disorder of brain function,  and so cannot show if someone had a seizure.

had 6 negative ct scans for a benign lung nodule in my early 40s. is my risk of cancer increased,by how much and how many years down the road?

Cannot predicy: If after all those CT scans there has benn no change in the finding, then the likelihood it is nothing to worry about.  Your risk of cancer is not increased by this nodule or the CT. There are never any guarantees that you won't get cancer.  A healthy life style without smoking and the like will certainly be in your favor. Good luck

just got a ct scan done on my neck. level was a 9.5. what are the chances of this causing cancer down the road? lymph nodes, throat, neck, brain, skin, etc. i am very concerned.

Low: Life has  many X-ray exposures such as  cross country  AirPlane  rides.. CT has  higher X-ray exposure  so  it is done  with limitation.

Like an x-ray: It's like a simple x-ray - you lie in a small, partially enclosed space while the exam is performed.  Sorry, i don't have pics or video for this one!

Fetal health: CTG is cardiotocography , a device monitoring fetal heart rate and contractions during pregnancy. Also called electronic  fetal monitor (EFM). Amniotic fluid index (AFI) is a measure of amount of amniotic fluid in cm. determined by ultrasonography and is measure of fetal health. AFI normal values 8-18.

Planning scans are typically done by surgeons prior to an operation in order to determine anatomical layout and to plan the approach of the surgery.
