One factor: The number of pregnancies is one factor in determining the route of surgery. The patient’s size, the size of the uterus, the size of the vagina, the amount of uterine prolapse, previous surgeries, medical problems, surgeon preference, surgeon skin and experience are other a few of the other factors. Each case must be evaluated individually to determine the best surgical approach.

Little: The tot procedure has the shortest time of recovery. However you should wait to resume intercourse until vaginal mucosa fully heals.

Balanced diet: Frist of all, your sister should make sure that she is not anemic after the surgery.(blood test). If it is normal, then a balance nutritious diet is all that is needed to restore her health. Surgery uses up a lot of the body's nutrient stores to heal and if the blood test is normal a 6 week post surgery recovery is a minimum to eliminate fatigue.

Ultrasound may help: shows abnormalities, from approximately 0.5 cm to anything larger. Endometriosis, is possible.   Further discussions with your doctor can be reassuring.

Probably: A test called a hysterosalpingogram (hsg) can be performed to demonstrate tubal patency.  Dye is injected into the uterus and flows out through the tube.

Depends: Depends on the size of fibroid, surgeon's experience , your weight and health and a few other factors.  Recovery from laporoscopic procedure is faster.

Unlikely infection: If you had this 6 mos ago infection would have appeared long before this time and be manifest by fevers, discharge, pain, etc.  If you are having bleeding, please go see your ob/gyn and be reexamined.

Nope: Even dr mckoy couldn't beam out a uterus without calling it surgery... Seriously, removing a body's organ requires surgery, even if minimally invasive. Vessels, ligaments, etc have to be severed and sealed one way or another. Sorry.

About 2 weeks: If it is done laparoscopically you will be able to drive and move around 6-8 days after surgery. Remember that you will have a pulling sensation/pain into the groin for several weeks. Every week will be better. No heavy liftng for 6 weeks and listen to your body.
