Unlikely: Leg swelling attributed to sunburn would not be expected to cause blood clots.  Common causes of blood clots include prolonged immobility (i.e. Long plan rides), major surgery, extremity injury, and conditions associated with increased tendency to form blood clots (i.e. Cancer).

Cool it: If there is no blistering then you most likely have a 1st degree burn .  I would not put on any oils etc. I would take an analgesic such as Motrin or aleve (naproxen) etc.  I would keep the burn clean and apply cool compresses as needed.

Keep it clean: First no sun exposure its burned enough second make sure its not now infected warm tender swollen and pus make it likely so I would recommend you see a doctor. The swelling causes pain and sitting with the leg down makes that situation worse

Need to be evaluated: Hand and feet swelling with sunburn symptoms and  symptoms of UTI need to be carefully evaluated by a doctor . These could be early indications of auto immune disorders . Your symptoms should be taken into account with further detailed history and exam.

Bad sunburn Kid Tx: This is dangerous and could be sun reaction to meds you are taking for Tx rejection. Talk to your kidney team now! If you are on vacation go to ER.

Depends on the burn: severity.  The burn causes injury to the tissue which releases inflammatory chemicals which then cause vessel swelling and fluid.  If the sunburn has not caused blistering, it should improve a lot in 5 days.  Elevation of legs above the heart and cool compresses will help reduce sweling.  Compression with ACE wraps helps.  Please use sunscreen in the future.  Each sunburn  increaes cancer risk.
