For obvious reasons: We don't wish to opine on means of suicide in a public forum. This question would best be asked of the coroner who consulted, or your own personal physician. Every suicide is painful, if not for the victim, then to varying degrees by the survivors. Best wishes.

Healthy habits: Take a break in your mind.  Learn to meditate, listen to calming music, or  to guided imagery.  Take a walk in nature.  Start aerobic exercise.  Look to a spiritual power and pray for release.  It depends on what works best for you.  Try these out to see how it makes you feel.  The key is to be 'addicted' to this positive activity instead, so that the urge is to turn to this activity when stressed.

Often impossible: Someone taking a sedating drug may unthinkingly take too many pills. We need to look at the life circumstances and what else the person was saying and doing to determine whether there was intent to harm oneself.

Confused Brain: When you mix street drugs with medication you are creating a chemical mix that may make your situation worse.  Seek help with your addiction.  Find an addictionologist or  an addiction counselor.  If you get this under control, medication will be effective and put your symptoms into remission.   I know this is a hard road to travel, but many have done it successfully.  Good luck.

Depends on situation: Assisted-dying is not illegal in about 5 states in the U.S., so if an adult there has a terminal illness, or is in a comparably bad situation, she has the right as a free American to choose her own destiny. However, many people become suicidal for other reasons, which are often temporary (breaking up with a loved one, loss of a job, etc...), so calling 911 to save them gives them a second chance.
