syrup and honey are making my throat swell up. had ibs like symptoms for a year and a half every gi test is normal. sugar allergy?

Unlikely: Proteins typically cause allergic reactions, and not sugars. I'm the case of syrup and honey, it could be oral allergy syndrome. This is a cross-reaction between pollens and foods that causes mout itching, minor throat discomfort. It does not lead to anaphylaxis, however. Hope this helps.

DH: Dermatitis herpetiformis is an extremely itchy rash made of bumps and blisters. The rash is chronic, which means it continues over a long period of time.
Dermatitis herpetiformis usually begins in people age 20 and older, although children may sometimes be affected. It is seen in both men and women.
The cause is unknown. However, dermatitis herpetiformis is frequently linked to gluten sensitivity.

Should be seen.: It is difficult to diagnose a rash without seeing it. There are many viruses which cause rashes, but strep can cause a rash as you have described also. I would recommend you call your child's doctor and have he or she take a look, so that your child can be diagnosed properly and receive any necessary treatment.

Yes: During the peak of the season grass pollen can cause skin problems as well. However, most skin problems associated with grass result from contact directly with the grass itself.

Too long: For peanuts to cause these symptoms, unless you are still ingesting something that has peanuts in its ingredients, revise your diet, see your doctor, it might be something else

: Any thing is possible but chances of your rash being from mold are low. Get rid of the mold in yourb house and see your Md for proper diagnosis and traetment

i am 19 years old, have been having persistent cough for a month now after going through influenza. tested for ige 2047 iu/ml in the first test,1896 iu/ml in the second. no eczema, no rash, no other symptoms of allergy whatsoever. what might it be?

: There are many causes of an extremely high IgE. If you have sputum production, a sample may be analyzed for fungi.  A chest image and pulmonary function testing may be indicated. An allergic reaction to Aspergillus, ABPA should be considered.
