Corneal erosion: Or exposure keratopathy comes to mind with these symptoms.  Make an appointment with an ophthalmologist and try to get in when you are having symptoms.

Depends on cause: Dry eyes and allergies are two common causes of stinging eye pain. The former is commonly treated with artificial tears several times a day. The latter is treated with otc or prescription allergy  eye drops. See your ophthalmologist for the specific cause of your irritation

i am almost 61 yrs old my eyes seems to be getting very small. i have some problems with pain in eye, and watering for no reason. sometimes burning, stinging. seen optition, says no problem, but iam worried?

Sounds like Dry eyes: Dry eyes are an often the culprit of many symptoms in the eye which can include burning, stinging, tearing, foreign body sensation, tiredness, heaviness, blurred vision and eye pain. You can have some or all of the symptoms or even none of the symptoms and have dry eye. I would suggest starting with using over-the-counter artificial tears and a warm compress on the eye to see if that helps.

iv'e recently developed a number of eye floaters that do not leave these floaters change daily and seem to get worse i also experience pain in eye and my eyes sting when i cry or get any water in them i also see coloured blobs constant? whats wrong?

: Floaters at you age could be serious, especially you also have pain. You need to see an ophthalmologist (not optometrist) as soon as possible, good luck.

No: Tight muscles may occur in association with variety of  conditions including stress. The tight neck muscles are not usually associated with stinging eye pain.

See eye doctor: Try using artificial tears four times a day because many times the eyes sting water when they are dry as an overcompensation.  If no relief, see eye doctor because the drain duct could be clogged or may have allergies/infection.

Yes: Yes because they may be getting dry. Whenever you blink that replenishes the layer of moisture on the surface of the eye (conjunctiva).

Dry eyes &amp; headache: Is your bedroom dry?  You may need a humidifier.  Please see your doctor.  He/she can check for Sjogren's Syndrome, a drying condition, along w/other possibilities.  Peace and good health.

Dry eyes: You may sleep with eyes somewhat open, other entities can cause eye to burn in the morning . Treatment is a viscous artificial tear drop  before going to sleep. Systane ultra or gel, liquigel, or
 genteal gel. All are over the counter drops.
