OK: A sub-conjunctival hemorrhage is not a contraindication to contact lens wear. However, in general, if the eye feels uncomfortable with the lens however, remove the lens until the eye clears up.

Anticoagulation eye: Anticoagulation medications like Aspirin and coumadin, (warfarin) will not cause bleeding .  However, if bleeding is started for instance from trauma, blood dyscrasias, or blood vessel anomalies, then bleeding from these sources can be prolonged and exaggerated.  In most cases, the blood thinner should be stopped while the cause of bleeding is addressed.

See below: You may have a subconjunctival hemorrhage, which could be secondary to rubbing your eye.  Although looks ferocious, these are self-limited, non-progressive and reverse over a few days. You neglect to mention if you are taking medication even aspirin, as these could play a role.  See an eye doctor if this is causing loss of vision, double vision, or excessive worry.

2-3 weeks: I would count on two to three weeks, depending on how deep the scratch is and if it gets infected. Total healing time is usually given to be 6 weeks, but 2-3 weeks until it looks pretty good.

It depends..: Subconjunctival (white area) bleeding is common, sometimes from coughing/sneezing hard etc...Usually no pain. You reported being hit, but if you have no pain n no vision change, likely you will be fine...Bleeding there will resolve. If having pain and/or vision trouble, consult your doc..

Almost never serious: Visible blood on the white of the eye is usually amused by  straining such as coughing, sneezing, straining to go to the bathroom or from straining at heavy activity. This type of bleeding on the surface of the eye is almost never from a serious medical problem. In fact, you may have just rubbed your eye too hard. Always have yearly physicals and eye exams!

Several things: can cause bleeding outside of trauma, subconjunctival hemorrhage, complications of diabetic retinopathy, high blood pressure, glaucoma. It's actually bleeding in the eye.

Usually not serious: The whites of your eyes is a thin skin covering the eyeball and can heal quickly on its own.  Small blood vessels in the conjunctiva can leak if it is cut, but the body can absorb it.  If you have pain or blurred vision see your  eye doctor.
