Dry eyes?: It sounds as if you may have dry eyes.  Dry eyes can certainly cause twitching and burning.  It may even cause headaches.  You can try OTC artificial tears 4x / day to see if that helps.  You should also probably see an eye MD for a complete eye evaluation.

PoppedInThePumpkin?: It's probably going to be OK,but the temple area is sensitive (on the outside--Ouch!--and..on the inside) and if you have a "rather strong"headache on that side, or the opposite,it would be best to get yourself checked out by a doctor and make sure all's well inside (in your "squash,"as they say in the biz).Sometimes, even what seems like a minor blow,there can be bleeding, usually in older people

Several reasons: There are several reasons behind the occurrence of head pains ranging from genetics, muscle contractions, stress, sleep disorders, teeth grinding, trauma, and different medical illness.  The exact causes of headaches aren't known.  You could try some self care strategies like massages, warm compresses over neck/temples, green tea, relaxation, and ibuprofen/tylenol.

Could be migraine: You don't say if the headache is throbbing or dull nor how often it occurs. There are over the counter migraine medications that work well for many people. If your headaches are getting progressively more frequent and more severe, you should see a doctor.

Doctor can examine: Most people get a headache at some time, such as from colds, infections, lack of sleep, too much driving, long hours on the computer, stress at work, etc... A bad or increasing headache, recurrent headache, weird headache, or one with other worrisome symptoms needs to be examined by a doctor (call first). The nerve to the left face area may be involved.

First, : First, you should go to health services and have them check your blood pressure since your pulses seem unusually strong to you. The other thing you should do is to make an appointment with your dentist. You may be grinding your teeth at night and experiencing temporo-mandibular joint dysfunction. The TMJ is the joint between the mandible (jawbone) and the temporal bone just in front of the ear. The pain would radiate from inflamed tmj's to the temples and the jaws. Your dentist may recommend a bite block to wear at night.
You are smart to limit salt and to try to lose weight.

However, in view of the strong recent headache and occurrence of right foot tingling, for peace of mind, a neurologist is best to consult. Right sided head symptoms are more characteristic of anxiety than brain pathology,however.
