No cutting: The time honored method of treatment for straight forward strictures is urethral dilatation. Visual internal urethrotomy was developed about 35 years ago. Urethrotomy is probably better for more complicated strictures.  Discuss the significance of your problem with you doctor.

Junctional rhythm: The "AV junction" is a connection that the electrical signal passes through from the top of the heart to the bottom.  It acts as a back-up pacemaker when the hearts normal pacemaker stops working.  Thus, a Junctional rhythm is a back-up rhythm that keeps your heart beating.  It's typically slower than normal and less responsive to activity.  Many times an artificial pacemaker is required. See PCP.

Infections, especially gonorrhea are notorious for causing them. Treatment can can vary from simple urethral dilatation, cystoscopic urethrotomy to 1 or 2 stage surgical procedures.
