Yes: It is safe to use while nursing since it is a localized topical product.  It would be questionable to use on breast scars, but others (such as cesarean) would be quite fine.

General rules: The OTC creams/lotions you apply to the skin do not put medications/chemicals into the blood to any significant degree. Only those that would enter the bloodstream can effect the milk. They are thus not a problem with breast feeding unless applied to surfaces where baby suckles.

Avoid it: Arbutin is glucosylated hydroquinone, [5] and may carry similar cancer risks, [6] although there are also claims that arbutin reduces cancer risk.[7] the german institute of food research in potsdam found that intestinal bacteria can transform arbutin into hydroquinone, which creates an environment favorable for intestinal cancer.

Should be...: Very little cortisone from cream on your skin gets into milk. Moms applying cream to their breasts should wipe it off before the next feeding.

: Best treatment to minimize scarring is to keep the healing spots moist. Applying vaseline and covering the areas will keep the healing skin moist and lubricated to minimize scarring. Do not apply to breast tissue as this can be ingested.

Pupp: Pupp should begin to clear up. Try using oatmeal baths for relief instead of cortisone creams.

See dermatologist: sound like either a contact dermatitis or insect bites. Would be evaluated by a dermatologist and treated if necessary.

Tanning unsafe: Tanning is unsafe whether you are nursing or not.  There is nothing about it that makes it more unsafe while nursing however.  Mederma used topically is ok while nursing.
