Is mederma (or other stretch mark creams) safe to use while breastfeeding?

Yes: It is safe to use while nursing since it is a localized topical product. It would be questionable to use on breast scars, but others (such as cesarean) would be quite fine.

Yes: These are safe to use. Do not expect magic results though. The results vary from person to person and alot depends on your genes ---how well you naturally heal.

Yes: Maderma is considered safe during the pregnancy and while breastfeeding. I have not seen convincing evidence it is effective.

Yes: There are a lot of creams and ointments for use on scars or stretch marks. These are safe to use in pregnancy. Be aware that stretch marks will get smaller after your pregnancy and will lighten on their own over time.

Yes: As a rule any product you put on your skin will not enter the blood in enough quantity to enter breast milk. The rare exceptions use things like DMSO to migrate medicine through the skin, but most of these are medicine patches and have specific warnings when needed.
