can the side of effect of dry mouth happen with seroquel (quetiapine)? increased stress brings more dry mouth side effects. is this possible?

It is possible: Side effects like constipation, drowsiness, upset stomach, tiredness, weight gain, blurred vision are possible with Seroquel (quetiapine) and dry mouth is known to occur in some people taking the drug. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor for meds adjustment.

Tobacco cessation: Nasty habit for lots of reasons. Addictive, just like smoking. Need to rx like quitting smoking-e.g. Acupuncture, hypnosis, meds like nicotine replacement, buproprion (zyban), chantix. All have potential side effects, so discuss w/md. Less risk of lung ca and emphysema w/dipping, butrisk of mouth, tongue, neck, throat ca-rx is disfiguring surgery, rt, chemo. Ca esoph, kidney, cardiac, stroke risk.

The cause is not clear, but can be triggered by stress, allergic reaction or nutrition deficiency. It can be associated with other diseases such as crohn's, celiac, behcet's or hiv.

It is possible: Metallic tast can be caused by several factors and sress is one of them.Infections in your mouth, teeth or gums, sinus infections and several medications can also  cause this.  Some vitamen deficiencies such as
 b-12 or zinc deficincy can do this. There are a number of systemic conditions that can do this also.  It would be a good idea to have a evaluatin by your doctor and find out why.

Dry mouth ?: Acid reflux ? These are two possibilities, but it would be wise to have yourself examined by your dentist and your physician since a diagnosis over the internet without a medical history and an exam is only a guess.

Perioral dermatitis: See a dermatologist for a full history and physical, make sure it is eczema you are dealing with. Avoid potent topical steroids on the face, best to use 1% hydrocortisone or topical tacrolimus on the face for steroid responsive dermatoses. Avoid triggers and see dermatologist for more information please and good luck!

Unlikely: Blood from mouth or gums should not be caused by stress.  Unless there was inadvertent trauma (biting tongue or cheek).  See your doctor and have a CBC (complete blood count) done to rule out more serious causes such as low platelets.  Make sure you tell your doctor about all medications you are taking.

No: But, if your getting that upset frequently you may be depressed or suffering from an anxiety disorder ?

Mouth or lip: sores may be indication of a viral infection. Stress and not eating or taking care of yourself can certainly put you at risk for viral illnesses/infections
