Rhinosinus: Most likely is mild inflammation of the nasal and sinuses cavities with associated middle ear and eustachian tube dysfunction. Try otc antihistamines decongestants. If no improvement you might need to see a Dr for possible infection.

: Tinnitus occurs when you experience ringing or other noises in your ears &amp; isn't caused by external sounds. Tinnitus is generally caused by an underlying condition such as age-associated hearing loss, infection, meds, an injury to the ear or a circulatory system problem. Tinnitus improves with treatment of the underlying cause. You should therefore be examined by a physician as soon as possible!

Multiple things: The first could be wax build up in the ears, and the sound is created by slight movement in the tympanic membrane (ear drum). Or it could be a sign of high blood pressure. Or tinnitus which is a fancy name for noise/ringing in the ears. This is caused by many of things I mentioned before as well as age related damage. You could visit your doctor/ENT/Neurologist to help figure out the exact cause.

Meniere's Disease: Ringing in the ears is usually due to a condition called meniere's disease.  Unless you are taking a lot of aspirin, this is usally the cause for ringing.  You should have a good ENT evaluation and possibly a good audiological evaluation.  There may be some medications to help lessing this and perhaps a hearing aid.  May want to get your thyroid checked as well.  Best to you.

See Doctor: Wax, aka cerumen, can cause this. So can eustachian tube dysfunction from allergies or a common cold.  See a doctor if it continues for more than a week.

ears were exposed to very loud sound by my strong headphones and i had pain and reduction of hearing but i feel better now, do i still need to go dr?

Avoid loud noises: After one episode of exposure to very loud noise, if you feel like your hearing is normal, you probably don't need to see an audiologist. But, the well-known cause of premature reduced hearing is repeated exposure to loud noises, such as loud music, factory work, working around loud engines. Turn down the volume on the headphones and if you get pain, take them off. Give your ears a break to heal.

It MAY be something: as simple as needing the wax cleaned out of your ears or something more complex, perhaps an ear nerve condition called tinnitus.   Please see you doc who will help you.  Peace and good health.

i used a blow dryer on low setting for 2-3 minutes to dry my wet ears (6 inches away). i now hear a ringing sound. it has been 2 days, ringing sound has gotten less but not completely vanished. there is almost no pain. will the ringing go away?

Good judgement ears: You may have melted ear wax and pushed it against ear drum.  Someone needs to look and see. I would not do that again-blow dry ear. I trust you now have good judgement on how not to blow dry ears. How do you get good judgement you ask? By bad judgement.  ;-)

Fluid in ears: Sometimes people get fluid trapped behind the eardrum that causes such crackling.  Sometimes it is related to allergies.  I have had it for years and cannot get rid of it.  If it bothers you, please visit your physician who can advise.
