Not common: Hemorrhage from the needle biopsy can cause a clot to form under the surface capsule of the liver, it usually responds to expectant treatment without surgery. patients are advised to stay away of contact sports and stay close to an acute care hospital and follow up with their physician if not observed in a hospital setting

hematoma: This is an accumulation of blood which is probably from bleeding, getting bigger means more bleeding, she needs to be evaluate and find the cause. ( does she have an 'hematoma' or an ' hemangioma'?).

Follow up CT: Suggest CT every 2-3 weeks for 3-4 months and then less often.  If enlarges suggest angiogram of liver and embolization of bleeding vessel

Yes : When your liver moves up against the rib cage when your body stops (quickly like in a car accident).  Blunt force applied directly to the right upper quadrant can push the ribs down against the liver.

Right sided abdomina: Liver and/or gall bladder problems would not cause a bruise to form on the abdominal wall unless there was marked pressure on this area during an examination. Is there a history of some injury to your right upper abdominal muscles? Nevertheless in view of your persistent symptoms, you should be examined by a physician who will order any appropriate tests in order to make a diagnosis.

Be seen: An expanding bruise is an expanding bleed under the skin.  If your liver is not working properly to make blood coagulation proteins, it could be a sign of a more serious problem.  You should see your doctor.

Bruising: People do have bruises. It is normal. If you feel that your bruise is unusual, see your doctor for evaluation.

Possible: Yes from the pressure on nerves. Homeopathic arnica can help reduce the hematoma and the problems it causes. Homeopathic hypericum can also  help with nerve pain. Also consider acupuncture as well as it can really stimulate the body to heal.

Not uncommon: As long as there is no pain, drainage or fever, i wouldn't be concerned about the indentation.  If any of the above signs/symptoms are present, i recommend you see an physician for evaluation.

You may have one: While you may not have such a tear , if there is any question you should check it out
i wouldn't worry as much about the bruising but the indentation concerns me.
