i cut my balls shaving and it won't stop bleeding it has need bleeding for an hour now ! i am applying pressure but it's still bleeding ! help

Ice pack, Urgnt Care: U can try 2 stem blood flow w/ ice (colder the better), applied to the area. Also, keep pressure. A bag of frozen peas works as well, but it has to b replaced as it warms. Of course, even if bleeding stops, u have to see a doctor for "definitive" treatment. If nothing stops the bleeding, go 2night 2 urgent care; if u can stop bleeding, then perhaps u can wait until ur doc office opens &amp; call in AM

Yes.: At 24 you are probably up to date on your tetanus, but be sure.  Re: the bleeding, you may have hit a tiny vessel.  The 1st step to stop the bleeding would be to apply pressure.  You can place some gauze pads and wrap them with an ace wrap.  Leave this in place for 20 minutes and then check (remove the ace wrap and the outer gauze, leave last piece of gauze in place.) If still bleeding see MD.

Go to urgent care : Or ER, meanwhile put a pressure bandage on the wound, it may need stitches, and remember to update your tetanus immunization, good luck

Seek evaluation: I would call your gynecologist or family doctor for an evaluation as it sounds like you have an infection of the labia from the cut.  Keep the area clean with a sitz bath for now and you can irrigate the outside with some hydrogen peroxide today, but I would call for that appointment yesterday.

Hold pressure: In general a shaving cut shouldn't be too deep. If you just hold firm continuous pressure  without letting up on it for at least 5-10 minutes the bleeding should stop, if you don't have an underlying problem with your clotting ability or aren't taking any medications that would interfere with your clotting factors. Toxic shock syndrome is unlikely to occur within an hour of a shaving cut.

Bleeding: Apply direct pressure with a clean cloth.  If you can't get the bleeing under control after 20 minutes you may need medical care. Do you know what your tetanus status is?

It's possible: Sometimes a bleeding disorder (a disorder that prevents normal clotting) can be diagnosed with everyday injuries.  Patients that bleed more than normal, bruise easily, or require transfusions with normal surgeries or injuries may have a disorder.  Discuss your situation  with your primary care physician as this can be diagnosed with the right labs and a good history and physical.

Pressure: Apply pressure. Hopefully by now the bleeding has stopped, or you went to the emergency room.
