Common rectal issue.: The lower GI system produces mucus.  You can pass some blood with staining.  You need to look at your diet and possible allergies.  
Your symptoms can be serious, but a good exam with your doctor will be helpful.

Meds&amp; Constipation: Constipation with chronic pain or after surgery is a common due to the disruption of normal metabolism, and  compounded by use of narcotic pain medications.  It is important to stay well hydrated during this period (and stool softeners won't work properly without adequate fluid intake) and to walk as frequently as permissible (let your doctor and your comfort level be your guide).

Get second opinion: Although the risk of colorectal cancer increases with age and is rare in at age 30, it is possible.  It sounds like the source of your pain and discomfort has not been identified.  If your condition were properly diagnosed and treated, you would be less likely to want a colonscopy, which probably is not indicated.

: Rimming counts as sex for sure! You likely have new anal herpes due to HSV1, which could explain the sore. It also might cause bloody stool, but this will require further evaluation. See a doctor ASAP:  accurate diagnosis and effective treatment of newly acquired HSV need to be prompt, so do not delay until after the holiday weekend; go to urgent care if necessary. Good luck.

Several causes: The commonest cause of fresh blood from rectum in young individuals is hemorrhoids (painless) and anal fissure (painful).  Polyps, inflammation and even cancer are also seen frequently. Therefore the best approach is to be checked by proctoscopy or flexible sigmoidoscopy to positively identify the cause and treat it in the same session.
