Diet and fluids: I rarely prescribe meds for ibs. In my experience teaching people to eat and drink properly resolves most if not all symptoms when the patient is compliant and follows through. Hi fiber, 80-100 ounces non caffeine, non alcoholic beverages each day, regular meal times, excercise. Consistency is the key to being symptom free.

Maybe not: This can be sorted out by you and your dr.Without significant bowel changes i doubt  ibs.

Constipation.: If this has been a long term problem, you should consider increasing the amount of fiber in your diet. You may even consider a fiber supplement, such as Metamucil. If you do, you should increase your fluid intake in addition. If this has been a change in your bowel habits, and particularly if you have seen any bleeding or change in the caliber of your stool, you should see your doctor. Good luck.

Acute abdominal pain: Constipation, ulcers could cause such symptoms. However if symptoms persist acute surgical abdomen should be ruled out.

No: no do not continue milk. it could be milk allergy. if you continue with milk the pain may go away but that is from masking phenomenon. later it may show up in the form of headaches or some other symptoms. hard to explain masking phenomenon in a few allowed words
