Borborygmi: Stomach noises are called borborygmi.  If you say it in a deep slow voice, you can understand why it was named that way.  As fluid and gas moves through your stomach, it causes those noises.  A more active bowel often will be noisier but it's not always associated with more gas.

In the modern world,: Ink comes in many colors. There's yellow ink, blue ink, red ink, black ink, etc... Stools that have mucus, red blood, or dark (blackish) blood can mean a serious problem, so would make a patient go to her doctor sooner. A few watery stools with no blood-like colors may be a typical case of stomach flu or food contamination, but a doctor may check if more than 2-3 days, or other worrisome symptoms.

Yes: If this often occurs during stress it is likely irritable bowel. There are medications which can be helpful. Also, peppermint oil or tea may help. Avoid caffeine, sodas, and drinking out of narrow mouth bottles (water bottles) and with straws.

Peristalsis: The stomach and intestines are always moving in a rhythmic process called peristalsis. These structures are literally squeezing and pushing contents forward. Inside the bowels is air that we swallow while eating and drinking. When the bowel squeezes air forward it makes the noise that you hear as a rumble. In medical terms, this is call borborygmi. Probably one of the most fun words in medicine.
