husband got sick sunday w/the stomach flu throwing up fever chills body aches. wednesday he was better but not really any appetite at all. today, he is experiencing pain, and his testicles could this be related to his flu? or is it just a coincidence

Testicle pain : Testicle pain is not usually associated with the flu. He may have another infection or two things going on. I can imagine that someone can get dehydrated from not drinking enough fluids from a "stomach flu" then develop a kidney stone that causes testicle pain but usually also back pain too. You should see a doctor.

Yes to question: To answer your question MBanks, you  can have fever with food poisoning. Lettuce has been a culprit in several food poisoning outbreaks from such bacteria as E. coli and Salmonella for example.  You would also have diarrhea with these.

If you develop a fever over 101.5 F, have blood in your vomit or bloody diarrhea, or have been vomiting for more than 2 days, you need to see a physician.

Yes: If you are not having fevers anymore, you are most likely not contagious. The diarrhea is probably just residual from the infection. That being said, be sure to let your girlfriend know so that she can be aware of the (small) risk of getting it. Hope this helps!

It can be,, : Stomach flu can cause a great deal of discomfort.  People can feel a lot of irritation in their bowels but may have nothing once they go to the bathroom.  When standing, sitting, or lying down, the stomach, etc. Can get very uncomfortable and vomiting can occur often.  It might help to try taking time when standing or any other movements as the vowels are very sensitive.  Good luck.
