If you have the facility get antacids and try to eat low fat food and avoid also sauces, spicy, caffeine, fried foods.If you get worse and develop significant abdominal pain go to your nearest emergency department for evaluation.

Over what period of time have you noted the swelling--minutes or months, and what are your underlying medical problems (alcohol, liver disease, gut problems...)?
