Sensitive/resistant: The bacteria tested is susceptible to the antibiotic, norfloxacin but resistAnt to nitrofurantoin  (Macrobid).

Known side effect: Some antibiotics, especially the tetracycline class, are known to cause photosensitivity; it is advised to stay out of direct sun during the period of use.

Sensitive to what ?: Hot and cold? Then the answer is no, you do not have an infection. The nerve in the tooth is alive.

Pain to percussion? Possible antibiotics if an infection is suspected. 

Your dentist will make the determination in your situation.

Viral: Viral conjunctivitis is not treatable with antibiotics and can cause such irritation that the eyes become photophobic (sensitive to light). These usually run their course after making you miserable for a while. Supportive care, like staying out of bright light and using lubricant drops may help.

UTI with resistance: You may need  IV or IM antibiotics depending upon the clinical situation. This depends on numerous factors, including the manner in which the sensitivity studies were done. Suggest you see an Infectious Diseases expert.

2 reasons: One reason is there's only 2 cell layers between tooth an sinus.  If sinus still inflamed, teeth may be sensitive until sinus infection is completely cured.  Second reason, you may have coincidental but unrelated sinus infection and tooth infection.  Call your dentist for examination.

i had 3 root canals 6 days ago (capped with temps + antibiotics). i still have puss-filled bubbles on my gums & sensitivity. is this normal? help pls!

Abscess: Apparently you've had quite a bit of dentistry on infected, broken down teeth. Can't tell how bad the infections were before treatment began, but is seems like you're still healing, which is perfectly normal. The infection has been there for a while, and it will take a while to heal. Be patient, and allow the meds and your dentist to make things right. Feel better soon....

i am suffering from a testicular pain for more than a month,  i made a semen analysis and it was all good except that i had 25-28 pus cells , i then did culture and sensitivity test and took antibiotic for 10 days , but i still feel the pain ?

Revisit: Revisiting with your treating physician would be recommended. A firm diagnosis will be needed so that the proper treatment can be instituted. An urology referral may help in the process, if not already involved.

No treatment needed: Lactobacillus is normal in the genital tract and can easily get into the urine and show up on culture. It's almost certainly not hte cause of your UTI and does not need treatment. Also, you NEVER want to treat vaginal lactobacillus with antibiotics. Lacto is very important to vaginal health; getting rid of it causes bacterial vaginosis and increases risk of other infections, including STDs.

catheter removed after surgery   infection treated with antibiotics. still sensitivity and constant urge to urinate. lasting now for 6 months.

Please see below: Please repeat urine for infection. If this is negative then its good to discuss with a urologist.
