THE HANDS: are often the first joints to "feel the pain" of a number of arthritic conditions including Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis and Pulmonary (Lung) arthropathy'(a general medical term for joint disesase) You need a hands on examination (NO PUN INTENDED) and several blood tests.

Hand pain: It could be from arthritis from the break but it also could be some carpal tunnel that is developing.  Go to your doctor and get an xray and exam.

Many reasons: wrist pain could come from a variety of reason.
could be inflammation in one of the carpal bones like the navicular or the lunate are famous for that
.could be avascular necrosis to the carpal bone from an old trauma.
could be the tendons from over use causing tendinitis..
could be the median nerve in the wrist that could lead to a carpel tunnel syndrome.

Sprain Rx R.I.C.E.: This is most likely strain due to excessive or repetitive use.Treat with rice therapy (rest, ice, compression, elevation) and nsaids (like motrin) if it gets worse or progresses, seek medical attention.

?  Carpal Tunnel: See your doctor and find out if you have carpal tunnel syndrome. This often happens at night. Wearing a wrist splint may help as well as 50 to 100 mg of vit b6 (pyridoxine). Good luck.

Hand lumps: Nonitchy lumps but presence of soreness suggest spider bites. Bed bug bites are a possibility. Seek medical evaluation if you develop spreading redness, hand swelling or if new lumps appear. Check your bedding carefully.
