lost rt testicle to torsion 1 year ago. left one fixed by 3-0 stitches. everything normal, but varicocele developed after surgery (told to monitor for unknown duration). testicle feels colder than surrounding skin, but surgeon said normal. normal ?

: If the surgeon was a Urologist- yes. You cannot feel the temperature of your testicle as scutum  lies overit so what you are feeling is the scrotal skin. Wear a support underwear and you should be OK

Depends: It depends as there are a variety of of types of sutures. Some sutures will dissolve at different times. Some last days and some will last weeks. It also can depend on where they are placed, near the surface or deeper.

is it normal for a scar to keep randomly opening up with blisters and oozing out pus 8 months after surgery? feels like  stitches are in there

Not Normal: This is abnormal and should be evaluated by your surgeon. Retained stitches/foreign object is a possibility...

i had melonoma surgery on my leg with18 stitches two weeks ago. it looks very bumpy now and raised. should i have laser surgery to correct bumpiness and how soon after surgery? doctor said it might take one year to heal?

Wait: Scars usually shrink with time. It would be prudent to follow your doctor's advice and wait for a year.  Note that additional interference with the scar may make it worse.
Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/.

oral surgery. on 6th day of healing 3rd molar extractions & got stitches. on one lower site a small blood clot chunk (covered tip of q-tip) fell out today. little pain. 21 yrs old. don't smoke, no straw. possible dry socket on day 6-7 after surgery?

: It doesn't appear you have a dry socket. I would still refrain from disturbing the wound.

Depends: You will be laid up for a few weeks after surgery, so it depends on the urgency of the Dental treatment. If no great risk in waiting to treat crown, then best to wait. If waiting a big risk for crown treatment's success, then get it done soon. Ask the Dentist what the risk factor is in waiting 2 months. Then make the decision that makes the most sense to you. 2) should a dermatologist charge for an office visit just to remove the stitches after surgery in which she removed a minor skin lesion?

Your : Your scalp should always be checked in a skin examination.  Usually the cost of removing stitches is included in the global fee so you can ask the office manager about that.

It depends...: On what type of suture material was used and the thickness of the suture.  Without knowing the answer to both of those, it's difficult to tell exactly.  They may have even used non-absorbable sutures.

how long should steristrips stay on after hernia surgery; i have a few left on after two weeks . i had permanent stitches..; not mesh..

Some can hold: Some of them can hold on for a while.  The rest of them should come off soon.

scab fell off my wound from surgery after a bath. it was yellow/green. can see stitches now through the "hole" left behind. is this normal?

Call your surgeon: The sutures that your are seeing may be absorbable sutures that "dissolves" over several weeks.  If you have redness, increased pain, fever, or pus like drainage see your doctor right away as you may be getting a wound infection.  As far as the "hole" I would keep this area clean and dry and covered with a sterile gauze.   Do not let moisture get into the wound.  Ask your surgeon!
