Multiple joint pain: Joint pain is either degenerative (osteoarthritis) or inflammatory. There are over 100 kinds of arthritis. If rheumatoid factor is negative, you would look to ESR and CRP first. There are a battery of tests that follow for rarer conditions as more common ones are ruled out. Disease Markers (RF, CCP, ANF/ANA) for example. A rheumatologist may be helpful, as well as your primary doc

Joint pain: Joint pain together with morning stiffness in a young female may be an indication of an underlying inflammatory disease.  If your symptoms have lasted more than 6 weeks; you have stiffness in the mornings for more than 30 minutes; and you have any pain or tenderness over the small joints of the hands or feet, I recommend being seen by a rheumatologist.  I'm happy to do a consult if needed.

Needs ortho eval: Pain in the hip can have many causes. I would recommend that you start with her family practitioner but eventually get an orthopedic consultation. As tests are run the cause will become clear. It is impossible to state with certainty however whether or not it represents arthritis.

It can also be due to damage to the tissue surrounding the hip joint called the labrum. A labral tear is painful and causes stiffness. Then there can be muscle strain to the muscles around the hip. This will cause stiffness too.
