That : That triangular tissue is the interdental papilla. It may or may not have been damaged by the agressive flossing.

There is no "dental glue", but there is something called a periodontal dressing which can be molded and placed over the wound to protect it from further trauma for the next few days.

Since it is in an area that is quite visible and esthetic, you should have it looked at by your dentist since loss of that papilla could result in a black triangular space in that area.

Cryptic Tonsils: You have what are called cryptic tonsils.  They have folds and holes in them that food particles get stuck in.  You can gargle deeply or use a water pick to help get the particles out, but ultimately the treatment is to remove the tonsils.  This is done if they are constantly or recurrently inflamed or infected, if one has severe bad breath.

Being studied: There is research ongoing to better understand the possible relationship. There seems to be some increased risk if you have one for the other. Study is focusing on  hypothalamus function. Women w/ both may be given different treatment than either alone.  So, not 'linked' but not entirely separate either.
