Ligaments: Ligaments attach bone to bone. An example are the cruciate ligaments in your knee, the anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments. The largest ligament in your body is the Ligament of Bigelow (iliofemoral ligament) which attaches your femur to the ileum of your pelvis. Tendons attach muscles to bone.
