Probably not...: Testicular pain comes from many reasons such as infection, twisting, referring pain from spinal nerve, or after surgery, etc. But without careful palpation on scrotum and its contents with or without us, it's hard to state what it's causing pain.  Generally speaking, pain alone is not std-related.

Epididymitis?: The main connection between STDs and testicular pain is epididymitis, testicular infection with gonorrhea or chlamydia. It&#x27;s almost always only one testicle, with marked tenderness to touch and often obviously enlarted; and usually penile discharge. If both testicles and no swelling or discharge, it&#x27;s more likely referred pain from the prostate area, usually not due to STD of any kind. See doctor.

Here are some...: At this time, please do not use any topical agent but gentle cleansing and drying without any soap. Clinically, you may apply anti-fungal with steroid like hydrocortisone of 0.5-1 % cream 1-2 times daily and see. If not getting better as usually expected, seek re-evaluation in 2-3 days as long as being bearable and having no systemic symptoms like fever and general exhaustion. Best to health....

: Epididymitis due to STD is an acute infection that responds to antibiotics -- never chronic with recurrent or on-and-off symptoms. And it usually does not cause only a sore or tender testicle; almost always the testicle is enlarged and hardened, with tenderness to touch. Testing always shows gonorrhea or chlamydia. It sounds unlikely you have epididymitis; or if you due, not caused by an STD.

pain: There is a small appendage that hangs from the testes called the testes appendix.  This small segment of tissue can twist and become ischemic.  This is very painful.  Have first hand experience and will not forget it. In time, usually a few days this will resolve.  Other things that can cause testicular pain include orchitis (inflammation of the testes) and kidney stones (referred pain).
