"sure": Air travel, or really any mode of travel, can be uniquely stressful (as well as exciting!). Change in diet, being tired, stressed, or jet lagged can all effect your mood. Discuss strategies of mood elevation, stress reduction, and/or meditation with your health care provider before you fly.

i take 175 thyroxcine, 375 efexor, 50 seriquil,  900 lithium.  i have been on these for over a year. how long before i become stable with my moods.?

Stable?: From your meds i'm guessing you may have bipolar disorder.  If these are working, you should have some improvement in your symptoms.  Finding the right combination of medicines in severe, chronic conditions can be challenging -- but is possible.  You may even need a different mood stabilizing medicine than lithium. Please discuss this with your psychiatrist. Working together, things can improve.

on lam 100 mg - dr suspect mood issue. off my anti dep. dr wants to go to 200 b/c he says it's the therap dose but i feel stable. reason for 200 mg?

Hmm...: You do have a good question, as if you feel stable and are controlled on the current dose, you may not need to be increased.  The dr. however may know others that feel you mod is not quite stable, even though you feel it is, or through an examination and therapy sessions may feel you are still able to improve further, thus the reason for increasing.  Ask the Dr. and let them know your concerns.

Not benzos: Benzos are rarely the answer, especially for a chronic or recurring condition. You need to be i under the care of a psychiatrist. This sounds too complicated to be addressed on the web.

Sxs: Was that high and stable mood or high and unstable mood? If  you are experiencing agitation, sleeplessness, rapid thoughts, euphoria, rapid speech, increased energy level, restlessness - please notify your prescribing provider right away.

Question unclear: Normal, healthy people do not have "constant tiredness," without a good reason. One's primary care doctor can follow along and look for reasons for fatigue, such as anemia, infection, mental illness, auto-immune disease, thyroid problems, cancer, insomnia, etc...  Various tests may be needed, depending on one's whole story, and sequence of symptoms.

i'm bipolar 1 and take lamictal 150 mg and topamax 100mg is this enough medicine to keep my moods stable?

Possibly: Bipolar I (older term is manic-depressive) is a serious psychiatric disorder. You should be seen regularly by a psychiatrist to best answer your question. Goal of meds is to control extremes of mood swings and restore more normal functioning. Meds are individualized, so this combination may be fine for you. But be safe and keep regular appointments with prescribing doc, who should know you well.

with hypothyroidism, does l-tyrosine raise or lower thyroid levels if your at a stable level?(on synthroid) i want to use it for mood support.thanks

L-tyrosine: It should not harm you but before you take it please contact your thyroid doctor.

Regarding mood - if the doctor says no do not take it.

In that case, if you still have mood issues a consult with a psychologist would be helpful.
