Yes: Tonsillitis can be from many other bacteria other than Strep. We do throat culture for Strep because untreated Strep tonsillitis can cause Rheumatic Heart disease and kidney damage. Fever and tender enlarged neck nodes can occur with bacterial or viral tonsillitis and pharyngitis.

i have staph in my eye , armpit, on skin .can i get in in my throat?i'm asking cause it itches n it all started at the same time

It is in your throat: Staph is a normal part of the upper respiratory flora and does not generally cause infection there.  Labs do not report the presence of staph on pharyngeal swabs. I assume that you have had recurrent skin infections so were swabbed to see if you had mrsa.

Yes: No interaction between them. However it is useful to take a probiotic while on the antibiotics to avoid side effects.
