Accepted Answer

It is probably: the same chemicals that causes sensation of spiciness that is causeing perianal irritation.  If it persists, you should consult with your doctor to make sure that it is nothing more serious.

Gastroenterologist: You should see a gastroenterologist to have endoscopy performed.  This will help rule out gastritis from an ulcer.  Also, tests can be done for Helicobacter pylori.

See a doctor?: How much blood?  First time it happened?  Spicy foods do not cause bloody stool. It may cause diarrhea, which can cause hemorrhoid a, which then can bleed.  I recommend GI evaluation.

my canker sore was getting better/shrinking in size, but then it started getting larger. i had spicy thai food yesterday, which is when i noticed some discomfort from the sore/larger size. did i extend the healing time due to eating spicy food?

: The rule of thumb is that any oral lesion that has not totally and completely resolved in 2 weeks should be evaluated. So if the 2 week mark, from inception of the lesion, comes up on your calendar, see your Dentist immediately.

Possible: It's possible. the urethra is short and it's possible to get a UTI with aggressive manipulation. The urethra is just below the clitoris. Push fluids and see if it doesn't improve on its own, but if you get more symptoms of a UTI like urinary frequency you should get checked and treated.

Get seen: The most common cause for new sore throat is a viral infection, but worsening after a week may be concerning.  You should have the throat examined as you may need an appropriate medication.  Casein in food will exacerbate pain from inflammation from any cause and fits with your overall story.

Spicy foods: Depends on the age.. Spicy foods are usually not recommended before a year of age. Spice in moderation may in fact increase your child's appetite.
